As explained in Wiki, Neophilia is defined as a love of novelty and new things. A neophile is an individual who is unusually accepting of new things and excited by novelty. Based on the economic situation of most of my life, I have admired new technologies and cool gadgets always from a far, far, far away point of view, I even had always the opinion that people that buy cool adult toys are dumb and completely influenced by corp greed. This is all changing since I received yesterday my new unlocked cell phone specially bought for my vacation trip to paris next monday.

My new Motorola KRZR is so cool !!! I can not even believe it.

The fact that I feel so shameless about spending so much money in such a beautiful and hopefully useful tool thing shows that capitalism finely won over my early life communist and anti consumerism upbringing.
